Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use TCG Trainer ("the service", "we", "us"), a free Pokémon TCG game tracker. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Who runs it

The service is a free hobby project run by an individual in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@tcgtrainer.app.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give accurate account information, and keep one account per person.

Your content

The games, decks, decklists and notes you log belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the service for you, for example to show your stats. We don't share them or make them public.

Other people's information

If you record opponents, use first names or nicknames only. Don't enter anyone's contact details or anything offensive about them. If someone asks you to remove their name, delete it.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• try to access other people's accounts or data
• attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service
• use it to store illegal, abusive or hateful content
• use automated tools to create accounts or log data in bulk

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

A free service, provided "as is"

The service is free and run in spare time. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Export your games regularly (Games tab → Export CSV) if they matter to you.

We may change, pause or close the service. If we plan to close it, we'll give signed-in users at least 30 days' notice to export their data.

Liability

As the service is free, we're not liable for any indirect loss, or for loss of data, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time. Email hello@tcgtrainer.app and we'll delete your account and data. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Trademarks

This is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Creatures or Limitless. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo. Pokémon sprites are used for identification only.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell signed-in users on the site about significant changes. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
